Our Services

DOT Compliance Services delivers expert USDOT and FMCSA registration solutions for carriers and fleet managers across the U.S. Our seasoned team eliminates regulatory hurdles, ensuring your operation stays legal, safe, and audit-ready.

Whether you’re securing new authority or maintaining complex fleet filings, we provide the deep industry expertise and reliable support needed to navigate every requirement—keeping your trucks on the road and your business compliant.

  • Protect your personal assets by forming an LLC—a top choice for both new startups and growing trucking businesses.

  • An EIN is a nine-digit IRS tax ID required for your business. We will obtain this number for you as part of our Managed Services.

Decide whether your trucking business will operate as a sole proprietorship, partnership, Limited Liability Company (LLC), or corporation. This decision affects your tax obligations and legal liabilities.

  • Required by the FMCSA and brokers, a USDOT and MC numbers monitor your company’s compliance. Our team ensures you meet all federal and state mandates correctly the first time.

  • Carriers hauling interstate freight require an MC number. To activate it, you must file a BOC-3 designating legal agents in your operating states.

  • We keep your policy manuals current with ever-changing DOT regulations, ensuring your drivers stay compliant and focused on the road.

  • IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) and IRP (International Registration Plan) are cooperative agreements between the lower 48 states and Canada that simplify how motor carriers report fuel taxes and pay registration fees based on their total distance traveled across different jurisdictions.

Instead of filing separate reports for every state or province, these programs allow you to manage your credentials through a single "base" jurisdiction. At BIGRIG ALLIANCE, we eliminate the administrative burden by handling your complete IFTA and IRP registration and ensuring your quarterly compliance filings are accurate and on time.

The IFTA simplifies the reporting and payment of fuel taxes by interstate motor carriers. Under IFTA, carriers obtain a single fuel tax license from their base jurisdiction, which allows them to report and pay fuel taxes for all participating jurisdictions through one quarterly tax return.

The IRP is a cooperative agreement among U.S. states and Canadian provinces that facilitates the registration of commercial vehicles traveling in multiple jurisdictions. It allows carriers to register their vehicles in a single base jurisdiction and pay apportioned registration fees based on the distance traveled in each member jurisdiction.

  • The Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) is a mandatory annual IRS tax for vehicles with a gross weight of 55,000 lbs or more. This weight includes the truck, trailer, and the maximum load carried.

BIGRIG ALLIANCE simplifies the filing process for you. We manage the complex deadlines and calculations, and we’ll even determine if your operations qualify for an HVUT exemption.

  • Trucking insurance costs are driven by FMCSA standards, your business type, and driver history. BIGRIG ALLIANCE understands these variables and helps you optimize your operations to keep insurance expenses as low as possible.

  • Onboarding with Amazon Relay is a structured process that starts with meeting strict safety and regulatory requirements. Once approved, support is primarily handled through the mobile app and digital resources.

    • Onboarding Process & Requirements

To join the Amazon Relay network, carriers must complete a multi-step application:

    • Company Eligibility: You must have an active DOT number with interstate authority for at least 180 days (6 months) and a "Satisfactory" or "None" FMCSA safety rating.

    • Insurance Minimums

    • Driver Setup

    • Vehicle Setup

    • Training

    • Support Channels

  • Every driver operating under a USDOT number is required to maintain a driver qualification file. We simplifies this process and works with insurance partners to ensure your fleet meets all regulatory and coverage standards.

  • BIGRIG ALLIANCE provides comprehensive management for all DOT drug and alcohol requirements, including policy development, Clearinghouse mandates, and full testing program oversight.

  • BIGRIG ALLIANCE connects you to over 1,000 DOT-approved collection sites and technicians across the U.S. No matter where your drivers operate, we ensure a convenient testing location is always nearby.

  • The BIGRIG ALLIANCE team leverages deep industry experience to ensure you meet every FMCSA requirement. Whether you hold interstate or intrastate authority, our Managed Services provide the expert guidance needed to keep your operations fully compliant with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

  • Don’t let complex, state-specific DOT rules slow you down. BIGRIG ALLIANCE identifies the standards that apply to your fleet and manages your compliance for you. We monitor the updates and handle the paperwork so you can stay focused on the road.

  • In the trucking industry, regulatory errors can devastate your profits. While compliance is vital, managing it is often overwhelming and time-consuming for owner-operators.

With BIGRIG ALLIANCE, you get a dedicated compliance manager focused entirely on your success. We handle everything—from quarterly taxes and permitting to driver qualification files—ensuring your business stays legal and on the road for the long haul.

  • New carriers must pass a New Entrant Safety Audit within their first year to make their authority permanent. BIGRIG ALLIANCE prepares you for this critical milestone, providing the expert guidance needed to pass with confidence.
